Introducing LINC’s Volunteer Ambassador Coordinator

I have always enjoyed being a “people connector” from my early working days in Human Resources at a bank to serving as an officer and engaging member of a Welcome Wagon Club in Butler, PA, to my involvement with the Newcomers’ Club of the Greater Lehigh Valley over the last ten years.  I have embraced learning about the entire Lehigh Valley and exploring all it has to offer.  Many people have dubbed me as an “ambassador” as I am always promoting a business, place or event.  I thrive on meeting new people and getting to know them and helping them connect to others.

This passion led me to my volunteer work with LINC and I am currently serving as the Ambassador Coordinator, assisting Terry Camilli in pairing clients with a volunteer ambassador.

Other local organizations that I support with my time are the Allentown Symphony Organization, Buy Fresh Buy Local and The Seed Farm.  One of my proudest volunteer moments was the opening of the Boyertown Community Library in my hometown where I served as a founding board member and treasurer for a number of years.

I am a mother to two grown sons and currently live in Lower Macungie with my two cats.  I love to shop at the many wonderful local farmers’ markets and cook whatever is in season.  I also enjoy walking and exploring the many neighborhoods throughout the valley as well as biking on the D & L trails.
